Description
The Vertiv Geist VP8965 Switched Rack PDU is a high-performance 0U vertical power distribution unit designed for modern data centers and mission-critical IT environments. Operating at 30A and 120/208V WYE, it delivers 8.6kW of reliable power via (18) IEC C13 and (6) IEC C19 locking receptacles, backed by a NEMA L21-30P plug.
With outlet-level switching, you can remotely power cycle equipment or prevent accidental overloads. The hot-swappable Interchangeable Monitoring Device (IMD) supports real-time current readings on the local LED display and Visible Light Communication (VLC) for wireless mobile access to detailed power usage data via the Vertiv rPDU Scanner App.
Additional features include dual Ethernet ports, environmental monitoring, and fault-tolerant daisy chaining/IP aggregation, enabling streamlined deployment and centralized control across multiple PDUs.
