The Vertiv Geist VP8941 is a high-performance switched rack PDU designed for remote power management in critical IT environments. Delivering 4.9kW of power through a 30A, 208V NEMA L6-30P input, this vertical 0U PDU features 20 locking IEC C13 and 4 locking IEC C19 outlets. Engineered for real-time power monitoring and outlet-level switching, it helps prevent accidental overloads and enables remote reboots of unresponsive equipment. The hot-swappable Interchangeable Monitoring Device (IMD) supports Visible Light Communication (VLC) for mobile data access and includes ports for serial, environmental sensors, and dual Ethernet. With daisy chaining and IP aggregation capabilities, the VP8941 simplifies large-scale rack power distribution.
