Description

The Christie 4.1–6.9:1 ILS1 Zoom Lens is a precision-engineered projection lens designed for Christie M Series projectors, delivering long-throw installation flexibility and highly accurate optical performance. Equipped with Christie’s Intelligent Lens System (ILS), the lens automatically recognizes and calibrates when installed, enabling seamless integration and optimized performance in professional AV environments.

Stepper motor-based encoding eliminates motor drift commonly found in traditional DC motor systems, ensuring precise and repeatable recall of zoom, focus, and lens offset positions. This capability supports advanced projection setups where exact positioning and consistency are essential, including multi-projector installations, large venue displays, simulation environments, and staging applications.

When used with Christie M Series HD/WU projectors, the lens provides a 4.1–6.9:1 throw ratio. With M Series SXGA+ projectors, it delivers a 4.5–7.3:1 throw ratio, allowing integrators to adapt projection distance while maintaining image clarity and alignment. The lens also supports position memory functions within compatible projectors, enabling quick recall of previously configured projection settings.

For installations using Christie M 4K RGB Series projectors, a lens hood is required to maintain the system’s Class 1 RG3 classification. Built for reliability and precision, the Christie ILS1 zoom lens is ideal for professional AV integrators who require flexible throw distances, automated calibration, and dependable optical performance in demanding environments.
